RoadNest offers free returns and exchanges within 30 days for eligible products. This Refund Policy explains request timing, product-condition requirements, return authorization, damaged or incorrect orders, exchanges, promotional purchases, refund calculations, processing times, and situations that may not qualify.

Four questions determine the correct next step

A request may lead to a return, exchange, replacement review, refund, partial refund, store credit by agreement, troubleshooting, or another resolution depending on the circumstances.

The request must normally be submitted within 30 days after the carrier records delivery. Keep the order number and checkout email available.

Is the product complete?

Include the product, packaging, instructions, hardware, cables, adapters, accessories, labels, and every component originally received.

The item should be clean and free from avoidable wear, stains, odor, pet hair, alteration, unsafe installation, or customer-caused damage.

Eligible product condition

Products should remain clean, complete, and reviewable

Reasonable inspection is permitted, but a product may lose eligibility when it has been extensively used, altered, installed incorrectly, contaminated, or returned without essential components.

    Keep original packaging whenever possible and protect the product from scratches, crushing, moisture, odor, dirt, and additional damage.

    Remove personal items, saved data, paired devices, cables not included with the order, and vehicle-specific debris before return.

    Do not cut, drill, glue, permanently fasten, paint, modify, wash incorrectly, or otherwise alter the product before requesting review.

    For vehicle-fit concerns, provide the year, make, model, trim, relevant dimensions, installation photographs, and a description of the mismatch.

Return request process

Follow the approved sequence before shipping anything

Unauthorized returns may be delayed, refused, misrouted, or unable to receive a refund. Use the following process for every return or exchange request.

Provide the order number, checkout email, product name, delivery date, reason for the request, and preferred resolution.

Add photographs and fit details

Include clear images of the product, packaging, label, damage, missing components, installation area, and vehicle details when relevant.

Wait for authorization

RoadNest will review eligibility and provide the approved return, exchange, replacement, troubleshooting, or refund instructions.

Step 4

Pack and return securely

Use the approved method, include every component, protect all surfaces, and keep shipment evidence until the request is completed.

Situations that may not qualify for a refund

RoadNest may refuse, reduce, or offer a different resolution where permitted by law when a request falls outside the policy or the product cannot be safely and fairly reviewed.

Late requests Requests submitted more than 30 days after delivery, unless applicable law or an express warranty requires another result.
Customer-caused damage Damage caused by misuse, collision, incorrect voltage, unsafe installation, alteration, neglect, improper cleaning, or normal wear.
Incomplete returns Products missing essential parts, hardware, cables, adapters, accessories, manuals, labels, or included components.
Hygiene or consumable limits Opened, used, or contaminated consumables and hygiene-sensitive items when safe resale or inspection is not reasonably possible.

Report the concern as soon as possible and within the 30-day request period. RoadNest may offer a replacement, exchange, missing component, refund, or another appropriate resolution after review.

Refund calculation and timing

Approved refunds return the eligible amount actually paid

Refunds are normally issued to the original payment method after the required review and, where applicable, receipt and inspection of the approved return.

The refund is based on the eligible product amount actually paid after discounts, promotions, credits, adjustments, and applicable taxes. Free standard shipping creates no separate standard shipping charge to refund.

RoadNest normally initiates an approved refund within five business days after final approval or inspection. Complex damage, carrier, payment, fraud, or missing-item reviews may require additional time.

Bank processing

After RoadNest issues the refund, the payment provider or financial institution may require additional time before the credit appears. Processing time varies by payment method and institution.

RoadNest will not issue duplicate refunds, replacements, credits, or chargeback recoveries for the same product or claim. Any approved resolution may be adjusted if another payment dispute or recovery has already been completed.

Discounted and promotional orders

Promotional purchases remain subject to eligibility

Products purchased with an automatic email-subscription discount or selected-product promotion are not automatically excluded from return or exchange eligibility.

    The automatic 15% subscriber discount and selected-product 20% promotion have no separate cash value.

    If an exchange changes the product price, RoadNest may collect or refund the approved difference.

    A product clearly marked final sale or non-returnable before purchase may be excluded where permitted by law.

Exchanges and replacement reviews

Availability determines the exchange outcome

RoadNest may approve an exchange when the original product is eligible and a suitable replacement is available. An exchange is not complete until the required return and review steps are satisfied.

  • If the requested replacement is unavailable, RoadNest may offer another product, store credit by agreement, or a refund.
  • Price differences may be collected or refunded before the replacement is confirmed.
  • Replacement availability, color, size, vehicle fit, and delivery timing may differ from the original order.
  • RoadNest may provide troubleshooting, a missing part, or another practical solution when a full exchange is unnecessary.

How long do I have to request a refund?

No. Wait for RoadNest to review the request and provide approved instructions. Unauthorized returns may be delayed, refused, misrouted, or unable to receive a refund.

Can I return an installed automotive accessory?

Eligibility depends on the installation, condition, product type, reason for return, wear, alteration, contamination, vehicle-fit details, and whether the item remains safely reviewable and complete.

Can I cancel an order before shipment?

Request cancellation immediately. Cancellation is not guaranteed after payment review, preparation, packaging, or carrier processing begins. If cancellation is no longer possible, the normal return process may apply after delivery.

What happens when an order never arrives?

RoadNest may review the tracking history, address, carrier information, delivery scan, safe locations, and customer confirmation before approving replacement, refund, or another resolution.

Can a discounted product receive a refund?

Yes, when the product is otherwise eligible. The approved refund is based on the amount actually paid after discounts and adjustments.

When will the refund appear in my account?

RoadNest normally initiates an approved refund within five business days after final approval or inspection. The payment provider or financial institution may require additional processing time.

Does this policy remove my legal rights?

No. This policy does not limit rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
